Grace Scriptures – John

The Scriptures of the book of John containing the Greek word “charis.”

(John 1:14)  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

(John 1:16-17)  And of his fullness have all we received, and grace for grace. (17) For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

A word of note:

The verses that you are about to view are selected solely on the basis of the word “charis” being contained within it. It does not show the verse in context. You are required to make the effort of reading these verses in their full context. Due to this manner of extracting verses from the bible I want to make it very clear: I am not building a doctrine out of these verses simply because I can pull them out of context. Any, and all, doctrine must take into account the full counsel of the word of God found in scripture as each writer was inspired by the Holy Spirit.
